Hi, I'm Yasiel Cabrera
I'm a software engineer from Cuba, based in Florida. I specialize in React and Next.js, and more recently I've been getting deep into AI—building with it, thinking about it, and figuring out where it fits in real products.
I like solving tricky problems, shipping things that hold up, and learning whatever comes next. Outside of work, I'm usually tinkering with side projects or writing about stuff I find interesting.

Building for the community
I believe great software should be accessible to everyone. I'm actively looking to contribute to open source projects that make a real difference — tools, libraries, and apps that people can use completely for free.
If you're working on an open source project and could use an extra pair of hands, I'd love to hear about it.
